Thornliebank, town with ry. sta., Eastwood par., Renfrewshire, on Auldhouse Burn, 1½ mile SW. of Pollokshaws, pop. 2156; P.O., T.O.; has extensive works for cotton-spinning, calico-printing, and bleaching. Thornliebank House, seat, is in vicinity.
