Lennoxtown is a town in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland at the foot of the Campsie Fells, which are just to the north. It is now part of the East Dunbartonshire council area but prior to 1975 was in the county of Stirling. It has a population of 3773 (2001)

Lennoxtown, town with ry. sta., Campsie par. Stirlingshire, 3½ miles NW. of Kirkintilloch and 11½ N. of Glasgow by rail, pop. 3249; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank; the inhabitants find employment in the neighbouring bleachfields, print-works, alum-works. &c.
