Ettrickbridge, Scottish Borders

Ettrickbridge is a village situated in Ettrickdale in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland, near the village of Ettrick, and the town of Selkirk, 7 miles away. It is next to the Ettrick Water and its name comes from the large bridge in the town spanning the large gap between the 2 cliffs at opposite sides of the river. There have been settlements in the village for over a century, but in recent years it has expanded rapidly with new houses being built every year.
