Port Clarence is a small village now within the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is situated on the north bank of the River Tees, and hosts the northern end of the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge.

Port Clarence, small port with ry. sta., Durham, at N. side of mouth of the Tees, 9 miles S. of Hartlepool by rail and 4 miles NE. of Stockton; P.O., T.O.; is a port for the shipping of coal, and is rapidly becoming a place of importance. Middlesbrough is reached by means of a ferry across the Tees.
