Ravenscar, North Yorkshire

Ravenscar (renamed from Peak in the early 20th century) is a coastal village in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire, England, approximately 10 miles north of Scarborough. It is within the civil parish of Staintondale and is also within the North York Moors National Park. According to the 2001 UK census, Staintondale parish had a population of 319 - note this figure includes Staintondale as well as Ravenscar.
