Birkby is a large multi-cultural suburb close to the town centre in Huddersfield, in the Kirklees borough of West Yorkshire, England. It has a population of 6,700. It has a catholic primary school, St. Patrick's. It has a semi-rural atmosphere. The area is home to a large white and Asian population and there are four mosques in the area.
