Emley is a village in West Yorkshire, England, between Huddersfield and Wakefield with a population of 1,867 according to the 2001 census. It is 4.5 miles east of Huddersfield and 5 miles west of Wakefield. The village lies in moorland close to the Emley Moor transmitting station. Emley dates from Anglo-Saxon times.
