Ulleskelf, North Yorkshire

Ulleskelf is a small village and civil parish in the Selby district of North Yorkshire, England. It is located four miles from Tadcaster on the River Wharfe. Its name comes from the Scandinavian personal name Úlfr. It is served by Ulleskelf railway station, at which up to ten trains a day run, all operated by Northern Rail. It has one public house (the Ulleskelf Arms) and one shop (Post Office/general store).
