Pistyll, Gwynedd

Pistyll is a village and community in the Welsh county of Gwynedd, located on the Llŷn Peninsula. The community includes the village of Llithfaen, and has a population of 492. The actor Rupert Davies best known for playing the title character in Maigret, is buried here. The Welsh National Language Centre, Nant Gwrtheyrn, is located within the community, in Llithfaen.
