Forest Town is a former mining village located in the outskirts of Mansfield, in Nottinghamshire, England. The Garibaldi School is the local secondary school. The area is split into two wards - Forest Town East and West, and as of the 2001 census, the total population of these wards was 11,194 although it was only 8,288 using older boundary data.
