Knowle is a large village a few miles southeast of the town of Solihull, West Midlands, England. Knowle lies within the historic county boundaries of Warwickshire, and since 1974 it has been part of the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull within the West Midlands. It lies a few miles from the modern Warwickshire border. Knowle is in the constituency of Meriden.

Knowle.-- township and vil. with ry. sta., Hampton in Arden par., Warwickshire, 9½ miles SE. of Birmingham, pop. 1514; P.O., T.O., and P.O. at sta., called Knowle Station; the church is of great antiquity. The Midland Counties Asylum for idiots is in the vil.
