Parts of it lie in the parishes of Edlesborough Northall and Dagnall and Ivinghoe in Buckinghamshire, but it is now mainly in the parish of Little Gaddesden in Hertfordshire. The postal address is "Ringshall, BERKHAMSTED". Ringshall is one of four place-names in the parish of Edlesborough Northall and Dagnall that have an origin with the suffix healh; the others being Dagnall, Hudnall and Northall.
