Durleigh, Somerset

Durleigh is a village and civil parish on the outskirts of Bridgwater in the Sedgemoor district of Somerset, England. According to the 2001 Census, it had a population of 609. Its nearest town is Bridgwater, which lies approximately 1.6 miles north-east from the village. The village lies on Durleigh brook, a tributary of the River Parrett, which was dammed in 1938 to form Durleigh reservoir.
