Charlton Mackrell, Somerset

Charlton Mackrell is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England, situated three miles (roughly 4.8 kilometres) east of Somerton in the South Somerset district. The village has a population of 996. The parish consists of two villages, Charlton Mackrell and Charlton Adam, together known as "The Charltons". Both villages have approximately similar populations. There are also small settlements at Lytes Cary, Cary Fitzpaine and West Charlton.
