Longburton, Dorset

Longburton or Long Burton is a village in the county of Dorset in southern England. It lies in the West Dorset administrative district, three miles (5 km) south of the town of Sherborne. It is sited on a narrow outcrop of Cornbrash limestone soil at the western end of the Blackmore Vale. In the 2001 Census the village had a population of 435.
