Okeford Fitzpaine, Dorset

Okeford Fitzpaine is a village in the English county of Dorset, situated in the Blackmore Vale three miles south of the town of Sturminster Newton in the North Dorset administrative district. It is sited on a thin strip of greensand under the scarp face of the Dorset Downs. As of 2001 the population of the civil parish of the village, including the hamlets of Belchalwell to the west and Fiddleford to the north, was 979.
