Horsell, Surrey

Horsell, Surrey, is an ancient village situated approximately 1 mile north of the 19th century town of Woking. It is bounded by Chobham, Woodham & New Haw, Woking town centre and Goldsworth Park. It is the home of the McLaren Formula 1 (F1) headquarters, McLaren Park and is probably best known because of its association with the classic science fiction novel The War of the Worlds, written by H. G. Wells.
