Dewlish, Dorset

Dewlish is a village in the English county of Dorset. It is situated in the West Dorset administrative district of the county, about seven miles north-east of the county town of Dorchester. It is sited in the valley of the small Devil's Brook, amongst the chalk hills of the Dorset Downs. The surrounding area is part of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The village has a population of 254 (2001).
