Kirk Ella is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England and is located around 5 miles west of the city of Kingston upon Hull. Together with West Ella it forms the civil parish of Kirk Ella and West Ella. Kirkella, Westella, Northella and Southella were originally separate villages and settlements connected by rural pathways and cartroads on the approaches to the Yorkshire Wolds.
