Long Riston, East Riding of Yorkshire

Long Riston is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England in an area known as Holderness. It is situated approximately 9 miles north of Hull city centre and 6 miles east of Beverley town centre. It lies to the east of the A165 road which by-passes the village. The village is a popular commuter settlement for those working both in Hull and Beverley. The village has one Public House called The Travellers Rest. Together with the hamlet of Arnold it forms the civil parish of Riston.
