Lissington, Lincolnshire

Lissington is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It lies 4 miles south from the town of Market Rasen, and about 4 miles north from the town of Wragby. Lissington was mentioned in Domesday Book of 1086 as "Lessintone", with 28 households, and 80 acres of meadow and 80 of woodland. The church, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, is a Grade II listed building built from ironstone and greenstone.
