Gedney Hill is a village and civil parish South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. It is located close to the boarder of Cambridgeshire about 14 miles south-east of Spalding, 14 miles west of Wisbech and 10 miles south of Holbeach. The Ecclesiastical parish of Gedney Hill is part of the Whaplode Drove group of the Deanery of Elloe East. The incumbent is The Revd R J Morrison. The name Gedney is from the Old English gaeda+eg, or "island of Gaeda".
