Orby, Lincolnshire

Orby is a village and civil parish which lies in the marshes from the Lincolnshire coast, 9 miles east of the town of Spilsby, and 5 miles west from the seaside resort of Skegness, Lincolnshire, England. The civil parish includes the hamlet of Habertoft, 1.5 miles to the north-west. Orby was first mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as "Heresbi", and in 1115 it was recorded as "Orreby".
