Lyng, Norfolk

Lyng is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is situated on the River Wensum, some 10 km north-east of the town of East Dereham and 20 km north-west of the city of Norwich. The civil parish has an area of 7.99 km and in the 2001 census had a population of 806 in 338 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Breckland. St.
