Upper Caldecote is an average sized village located in the countryside of Central Bedfordshire district of Bedfordshire, England. It also forms part of the Northill civil parish. The nearest town to Upper Caldecote is Biggleswade, although Sandy can sometimes be just as quick to get to. Most of Upper Caldecote is situated directly to the west of the A1 road, with facilities including a shop, post office, an Anglican church, a Methodist chapel and Caldecote Lower School.
